1. Client Relationship Manager / Business Analyst

- Based in Sydney with the opportunity to travel.
We are seeking to appoint a Client Relationship Manager who will support our growth in Australia, New Zealand and into new international markets. The role will provide you with unparalleled insight into the financial risk management practices of the nation's leading companies. This is not an IT role, but focuses more on the practical application of your finance and treasury knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a set of client relationships.
- Implementing treasury systems.
- Providing client support and training.
- Performing financial risk analysis.
- Scoping and testing new software developments.
What will set you apart is your desire to make a difference. You will be a proven team player with excellent communication skills and at least one to two years' experience working in a market risk or treasury management related role. Knowledge of financial markets and derivative hedging products is essential. Tertiary qualifications in a finance/maths related discipline will be expected.

2. Senior Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantitative Analyst who will have responsibility for driving the quantitative function within Visual Risk. The role will provide you with unparalleled insight into the financial risk management practices of the nation’s leading companies and focus on the practical application of your quant knowledge within an IT environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of the quant process within Visual Risk, including system accuracy, model creation, instrument pricing, and risk consulting.
- Provision of direct technical support to client and Visual Risk client managers.
- Developing new software modules.
- Performing financial risk analysis.
- Providing technical pre-sales expertise.
What will set you apart is your desire to make a difference. You will demonstrate high numeracy and enjoy solving complex problems analytically. You will be a proven team player with excellent communication skills and at least five years’ experience in quant analysis and development in financial markets.
Experience and knowledge in any of the following areas will be an advantage:
- Software development in a formal language.
- Corporate treasury management.
- Hedge accounting.
- Asset-liability management.

3. Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will help to support, design and develop existing Visual Risk solutions as well as provide valuable contributions to new developments.
Working at Visual Risk will provide you with unparalleled insight into the financial risk management practices of the nation’s leading companies, provide a sound understanding of financial instruments and bring your skills to bear developing world leading software shaping risk management practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new software modules and client requested enhancements.
- Maintaining existing software systems.
- Providing client technical support for the existing Visual Risk system.
- Testing of software developments produced by the development team.
- Contributing to the design of new functionality with possible client interaction.
- Playing a vital role in upcoming major developments.
What will set you apart is your passion for coding and desire to make a difference. You must have the following skills:
- At least four (4) years’ software development experience in a Windows environment, preferably with some experience in Visual Basic 6 and GUI development.
- Direct experience in, or demonstrable knowledge of finance or financial instruments.
- A University degree in a related discipline.
- Experience designing and/or developing database driven solutions.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Enjoy solving complex problems analytically.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be a proven team player.
Knowledge of corporate treasury management, hedge accounting or asset-liability management would be an advantage as would development experience in C# / .NET.
