System Implementation

A successful implementation is built around a detailed implementation plan coupled with comprehensive training. This requires a complete understanding of your requirements, procedures and desired outcomes. Over the years we have distilled our experience into a collaborative project plan that will ensure you derive the maximum benefit from your investment in Visual Risk™.

A typical implementation process is outlined below:

step 1

Project Initiation

A dedicated Relationship Manager is nominated to broadly scope your internal treasury structure, business processes and system requirements. Through a collaborative process, they will clearly establish and document fundamental objectives and critical milestones.

step 2

Software Installation and System Build

Visual Risk™ software is installed and a development database is built. Links to external data sources are established and all static data is set up. System administrators are trained.

step 3

System Review and Data Load

A key objective is to ensure ease of data entry and the integrity of data imported from existing systems. Data entry processes are streamlined to ensure users are confident when entering new data and transferring data from existing systems.

step 4

User Training

Key users are introduced to the system through a step-by-step process to familiarise them with core functionality. Sample transactions and workflow are modelled to validate output and deliver desired reporting formats for management. Specialised users will be introduced to the more advanced features of the system and Visual Risk product specialists will be called on to assist in any complex areas where appropriate.

step 5

Parallel Run

The parallel run alongside the current system is the ultimate test.  Users must become familiar with using the system in a live environment and all output generated by Visual Risk will be compared and reconciled with any existing system output. Any material problems will be identified and resolved before the system ultimsately goes live.

step 6

Go-live and Final System Review

After go-live, users and the Relationship Manager will together review the overall success of the system in meeting implementation objectives. Where necessary, recommendations will be made for additional system modifications or further training allocated to those who require it.
